If Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track is enabled, Monelyra defaults optional categories to rejected. Essential session and security technology remains active because the requested service cannot operate securely without it.
4. Consent records
Monelyra records a random consent identifier, selected categories, policy version, time, truncated browser information and a one-way keyed hash of the IP address. This is used to demonstrate and honour the choice without storing the raw IP in the consent record.
